Laser technology is revolutionising coding and marking in the industry significantly. The new generation of Fiber laser coders by Solaris provides the option onto code on surfaces where previous generation lasers such as the Nd:YAG could only dream of. • Local or remote file selection, along with the ability to modify and create files
• Touch screen interface
• Pin protected profiles to ensure security
• Connectivity options including LAN / Ethernet, USB and RS232

The e-SolarMark FL 2 can be used to label (colour change the surface) or engrave (removal of material from the substrate) metals, plastics, ceramics, rubber and various types of materials and packaging films.

Items may be marked statically (stationary) but it is also possible to mark in an 'on the fly' mode, where the subject is moved on a conveyor while the laser marks the item dynamically. In either case a high quality clear vector mark is coded. The content of the files may consist of any combination of characters including barcodes, 2d barcodes and graphics identifying the manufacturer or variable information such as date, time, serial numbers, batch codes etc. The e-SolarMark FL 2 is ideal for the production environment and depending on the application can mark up to 1600 characters per second.
